श्रीशुक उवाच गोपवृद्धा महोत्पाताननुभूय बृहद्वने । नन्दादय: समागम्य व्रजकार्यममन्त्रयन् ॥ २१ ॥

śrī-śuka uvāca gopa-vṛddhā mahotpātān anubhūya bṛhadvane nandādayaḥ samāgamya vraja-kāryam amantrayan

ศรีศุกเทวโคสวามีกล่าวต่อว่า: ครั้นได้ประสบเหตุร้ายใหญ่หลายในพฤหัทวนะ เหล่าผู้อาวุโสในหมู่คนเลี้ยงโค นำโดยนันทะมหาราช จึงมาชุมนุมกัน และปรึกษากิจของวรชะว่าจะทำอย่างไรจึงจะยุติเหตุรบกวนที่เกิดขึ้นไม่ขาดสายได้
