te pālayantaḥ samayam asurāḥ sva-kṛtaṁ nṛpa tūṣṇīm āsan kṛta-snehāḥ strī-vivāda-jugupsayā

ข้าแต่มหาราช เหล่าอสูรได้ให้สัญญาว่า “สตรีผู้นี้จะทำถูกหรือผิด เราจะยอมรับ” เพื่อรักษาคำมั่นนั้น และเพราะรังเกียจการวิวาทกับสตรี พวกเขาจึงนิ่งเงียบอยู่
