शिवपूजाकथनम् (Śiva-pūjā-kathana) — The Exposition of Śiva Worship
บทนี้เริ่มหลังจบตอนบูชาพระสุริยะ แล้วแสดงคำสอนของอีศวรว่าด้วยศิวปูชาเป็นพิธีกรรมที่จัดลำดับอย่างเคร่งครัด เริ่มด้วยอาจมนะ การถวายอรฺฆยะที่ประกอบด้วยปรณวะ การพรมน้ำอัสตรามฺพุที่ธรณีประตู และบูชาผู้พิทักษ์ทางเข้าและเทวะที่เกี่ยวข้อง (คณะ/คเณศ, สรัสวตี, ลักษมี; นันทิ, คงคา; มหากาล, ยมุนา) ผู้ปฏิบัติเข้าสู่มณฑลพิธีด้วยกิริยากายกำหนด (กระทืบส้นเท้า ก้าวข้ามธรณี เข้าโดยเท้าขวา พยุงเสาซ้าย) ตั้งอัสตรารักษาที่เสาอุทุมพร แล้วบูชาพรหมาในฐานะวาสตุอธิปติ ณ ศูนย์กลาง ต่อมาจัดภาชนะน้ำและเครื่องสักการะ ทำภูตศุทธิและโยคะละเอียด (ปราณายามะ แกรนถิเภทะ ทวาทศานตะ สมาธิบินทุ) ชำระธาตุทั้งห้าด้วยมณฑลภาวนาและพีชมนตร์ (ดิน น้ำ ไฟ ลม อากาศ) และสถาปนาที่ประทับแห่งหฤทัยเพื่อการอาวาหนะ จากนั้นมีสกลีกรณะและการคุ้มครอง (วงอัสตรา ตาข่ายศักติ มหามุทรา) แล้วบูชาภายในพระศิวะในดอกบัวหฤทัย พร้อมเตรียมอรฺฆยะ เครื่องมือ และชำระลิงคะ กล่าวถึงการเพ่งพระศิวะห้าพักตร์สิบกร การทำนยาสะมนตร์ มูละ/ศิระ/ศิขา/กวจะ/อัสตรา และลำดับอุปจาระครบถ้วนรวมถึงอภิเษกด้วยวัตถุต่าง ๆ ตามลำดับ ปิดท้ายด้วยอารตี บูชาภคะ/โภคะ ถวายชปะ สวดสรรเสริญ เวียนประทักษิณา กราบอัษฏางคะต่อพระศิวะอัษฏมูรติ และบูชาต่อเนื่องด้วยสมาธิและรูปภาวนา เช่น รูปไฟ เป็นต้น
