FAQs

In this verse, Vṛndāvana is presented as a timely refuge for Vraja—movement to a sacred space is a dharmic response to impending disorder signaled by ominous portents.

Through the story-flow, Parasara uses omens as narrative markers of disturbance in the world-order, prompting prudent action by communities before harm spreads.

Even when not named in the verse, the Krishna-cycle assumes Vishnu’s sovereignty: worldly upheavals arise within cosmic governance, and the faithful seek safety and right action within the divinely ordered landscape of Vraja.
