इक्ष्वाकुवंश-श्रवण-फलश्रुतिः
एते हीक्ष्वाकुभूपालाः प्राधान्येन मयेरिताः एतेषां चरितं शृण्वन् सर्वपापैः प्रमुच्यते
ete hīkṣvākubhūpālāḥ prādhānyena mayeritāḥ eteṣāṃ caritaṃ śṛṇvan sarvapāpaiḥ pramucyate
ఇవే ఇక్ష్వాకు వంశపు రాజులు; వారి ప్రధాన మహిమను నేను వివరించాను. వారి చరిత్రను వినువాడు సమస్త పాపాల నుండి విముక్తి పొందును.
