इत्येवं मेनया प्रोक्तः शैलैः शैलेश्वरः सुताम् प्रोवाच पुत्रि दत्तासि शर्वाय त्वं मयाधुना

Transliteration

ityevaṃ menayā proktaḥ śailaiḥ śaileśvaraḥ sutām provāca putri dattāsi śarvāya tvaṃ mayādhunā

Translation

మేనా ఇలా చెప్పిన తరువాత శైలేశ్వరుడు (హిమవంతుడు) తన కుమార్తెతో అన్నాడు—‘కుమార్తె, ఇప్పుడు నిన్ను నేను శర్వుడు (శివుడు)కు అర్పించాను.’
