ऋषय ऊचुः श्रूयतां राक्षसश्रेष्ठ सुप्रभातं हरोदितम् श्रुत्वा स्मृत्वा पठित्वा च सर्वपापैः प्रमुच्यते

ఋషులు అన్నారు—ఓ రాక్షసశ్రేష్ఠా, హరుడు (శివుడు) పలికిన ‘సుప్రభాతం’ వినుము. దానిని విని, స్మరించి, పఠిస్తే సమస్త పాపాల నుండి విముక్తి కలుగుతుంది.
