Transliteration

sa putrārtho tapastepe nadīṃ mandākinīmanu tasya bhāryā ca suśroṇī devācāryāsutā śubhā

Translation

పుత్రప్రాప్తి కోరికతో అతడు మందాకినీ నది తీరాన తపస్సు చేశాడు. అతని భార్య సుశ్రోణీ—శుభలక్షణాలైన, దేవగురువు కుమార్తె.
