sarvatra phaladātā hi prayāsānuguṇaṃ śivaḥ | athavā liṃgadānaṃ vā liṃgamaulyamathāpi vā

Translation

ఎక్కడైనా శివుడు ప్రయత్నానికి తగిన ఫలాన్ని ప్రసాదించేవాడు. అందువల్ల లింగదానం గానీ, లింగ విలువను సమర్పించడముగానీ—ఇవి రెండూ పుణ్యప్రదమే।
