FAQs

This is a phalaśruti teaching that śravaṇa (devout listening) and sharing sacred Shaiva narratives purify the mind and invite Śiva’s anugraha (grace), yielding well-being here and auspicious attainment after death.

Hearing and transmitting Śiva-related kathā is treated as a form of Saguna devotion—approaching Śiva through name, story, and sacred remembrance—which supports steady bhakti that naturally culminates in reverence for the Liṅga and Śiva’s manifest forms.

Practice śravaṇa–kīrtana: listen to this chapter with bhakti, recite it aloud to others, and conclude with a brief japa of “Om Namaḥ Śivāya” to seal the intention of devotion and remembrance.
