svakakṣayoḥ samālipya vyatyastābhyāmathānyayā | pāṇibhyāñca mṛdā śiṣyassumatirdṛḍhamānasaḥ

Translation

అనంతరం దృఢసంకల్పుడైన శిష్యుడు సుమతి, రెండు చేతులను పరస్పరం క్రాస్ చేసి, మరొక చేతితో కూడ, పవిత్ర మృదను (భస్మ/మట్టి) తన కక్షస్థలములపై (బుగ్గల వద్ద) భక్తితో లేపనము చేసెను।
