śabdaikaguṇa ākāśaḥ śabdasparśaguṇo marut | śabdasparśarūpaguṇapradhāno vahnirucyate

Translation

ఆకాశానికి ఒక్క గుణం శబ్దం; వాయువుకు శబ్దం మరియు స్పర్శ గుణాలు. అగ్ని శబ్ద-స్పర్శ-రూప గుణాలతో ప్రధానమని చెప్పబడుతుంది।
