FAQs

It highlights that in Shaiva teaching, even brief intention—“even for a moment”—and the stated purpose of an act can be spiritually weighty, because devotion and right orientation toward Shiva can transform limited time into meaningful merit.

By emphasizing purpose and even momentary engagement, it supports the Purana’s recurring theme that Saguna worship—such as Linga-puja—yields fruit when performed with clear intent and sincere remembrance, even if the act is short.

A practical takeaway is to perform brief but focused Shiva-smarana or Panchakshara japa (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) with a clear sankalpa; even a moment of concentrated devotion is praised in Shaiva practice.
