Sukta 10.23
स्तोमं त इन्द्र विमदा अजीजनन्नपूर्व्यं पुरुतमं सुदानवे । विद्मा ह्यस्य भोजनमिनस्य यदा पशुं न गोपाः करामहे ॥
stómaṃ ta indra vimadā́ ajījanann apū́rvyaṃ purutámā sudā́nave | vidmá hy asya bhójanam inásya yadā́ paśúṃ na gopā́ḥ karā́mahe ||
హే ఇంద్రా, విమదులు నీకోసం స్తోత్రాన్ని జన్మింపజేశారు—అపూర్వమైనది, అత్యంత సమృద్ధమైనది—సుదాన (ఉదార దాత) కొరకు. ఎందుకంటే ఈ ప్రభుత్వశాలి శక్తి యొక్క భోగాన్ని (అనుభవాన్ని) మేము తెలుసు: మేము దానిని మనదిగా చేసుకుంటాము—గోపాలు పశువులను రక్షించి సురక్షితం చేసుకున్నట్లే (కాంతి/జ్ఞాన కిరణాలుగా కూడా భావించవచ్చు).
