प्र वः पान्तं रघुमन्यवोऽन्धो यज्ञं रुद्राय मीळ्हुषे भरध्वम् । दिवो अस्तोष्यसुरस्य वीरैरिषुध्येव मरुतो रोदस्योः ॥

prá vaḥ pā́ntaṁ raghu-manyavo andhó yajñáṁ rudrā́ya mīḷhúṣe bharadhvam | divó astoṣy ásurasya vī́rair iṣudhyā́iva marúto ródasyoḥ ||

ఓ ఉత్సాహవంతులైన మరుతులారా, కాపాడబడిన సోమరసాన్ని, రక్షిత హవిస్సును ముందుకు తెండీ; కృపామయ వైద్యుడు రుద్రునికి యజ్ఞాన్ని మోసుకెళ్లండి. దివ్య తేజస్సుగల ప్రభువును, ఆయన వీరులతో కూడి, స్తుతించండి—ఈ మరుతులు రెండు లోకాల మధ్య శక్తులతో నిండిన తూణీరం వలె నిలిచియున్నారు.
