Heroic in the act of destruction of enemies, Indarjith having started from the city in his chariot drawn by swift horses assailed Vibheeshana and Lakshmana.
It highlights kṣatriya-dharma in wartime: opponents openly take the field and meet their adversaries directly, emphasizing courage and accountability in conflict.
Indrajit emerges from Lanka and rapidly advances to engage Lakshmana and Vibhishana in battle.
Indrajit’s martial valor and decisiveness (though used for an adharma-aligned cause) are emphasized through his swift, direct assault.
