"O Vanara! This day, having killed her, I will kill Rama, Lakshmana, and you, also Sugriva and that ignoble Vibheeshana."
The verse frames Indrajit’s role as a destructive power against the devas; it sets up a contrast between dharma-aligned warfare and adharma-driven aggression that will unfold through deception.
Indrajit exits Laṅkā through the western gate with rākṣasa forces, preparing for a tactical move against the vānaras.
No virtue is praised; rather, Indrajit is characterized by formidable might, foreshadowing how power can be used without dharmic restraint.
