FAQs

Dharma is universal-benefit action: helping Rāma is simultaneously service to society’s moral order—brāhmaṇas, sages, and even gods—because satya and dharma are mutually sustaining.

The sage expands the scope of Sampāti’s duty: the assistance is not merely personal help to Rāma and Lakṣmaṇa but supports the wider cosmic and social order.

Impersonal duty (niṣkāma-sevā): acting for the common good rather than narrow self-interest.
