Sampāti’s Account and the Sage Niśākara
तमङ्गदमुपासीनं तैस्सर्वैर्हरिभिर्वृतम्।जनितप्रत्ययो हर्षात्सम्पातिः पुनरब्रवीत्।।4.60.2।।
tam aṅgadam upāsīnaṃ tais sarvair haribhir vṛtam | janita-pratyayo harṣāt sampātiḥ punar abravīt || 4.60.2 ||
అంగదుడు కూర్చుని ఉండగా, సమస్త వానరులు అతన్ని చుట్టుముట్టి ఉన్నదాన్ని చూసి, నమ్మకం కలిగి ఆనందంతో సంపాతి మళ్లీ అతనితో పలికాడు।
'Eager to see the great sage I reached the place with much difficulty. I and my brother Jatayu had approached him many a time earlier.
The verse highlights dharmic communication grounded in trust: when confidence is restored, one should speak clearly and constructively for the common good.
Sampāti, having become reassured among Aṅgada and the assembled monkey leaders, resumes speaking to guide them in their mission.
Sampāti’s openness and cooperative intent—he speaks again once mutual confidence is established.
