अमोघास्सूर्यसङ्काशा ममैते निशिताश्शराः4.5.27।।तस्मिन्वालिनि दुर्वृत्ते निपतिष्यन्ति वेगिताः।कङ्कपत्रप्रतिच्छन्ना महेन्द्राशनिसन्निभाः4.5.28।।तीक्ष्णाग्रा ऋजुपर्वाणस्सरोषा भुजगा इव।

amoghāḥ sūryasaṅkāśā mamaite niśitāḥ śarāḥ | tasmin vālini durvṛtte nipatiṣyanti vegitāḥ ||4.5.27||

kaṅkapatrapraticchannā mahendrāśanisannibhāḥ | tīkṣṇāgrā ṛjuparvāṇaḥ saroṣā bhujagā iva ||4.5.28||

సూర్యుని వలె ప్రకాశించేవి, అమోఘమైనవి అయిన నా ఈ వాడి బాణాలు ఆ దుర్మార్గుడైన వాలిపై వేగంగా పడతాయి. కంక పక్షి ఈకలు కలిగినవి, ఇంద్రుని వజ్రాయుధం వంటివి, పదునైన మొనలు కలిగినవి, తిన్నని కణుపులు కలిగినవి అయిన ఈ బాణాలు కోపించిన పాముల వలె ఉంటాయి.
