वर्षप्रवेगा विपुलाः पतन्तिप्रवान्ति वातास्समुदीर्णघोषाः।प्रणष्टकूलाः प्रवहन्ति शीघ्रंनद्योजलैर्विप्रतिपन्नमार्गाः।।
varṣa-pravegā vipulāḥ patanti pravānti vātāḥ samudīrṇa-ghoṣāḥ | praṇaṣṭa-kūlāḥ pravahanti śīghraṃ nadyo jalair vipratipanna-mārgāḥ ||
భారీ వర్షప్రవాహాలు బలంగా పడుతున్నాయి; గర్జన పెరుగుతూ గాలులు వీచుతున్నాయి. తీరాలు చెదిరిపోయిన నదులు వేగంగా ప్రవహిస్తున్నాయి; నీరు వాటిని మారిన మార్గాల్లోకి నడిపిస్తోంది।
