Sugriva’s Remorse and Tara’s Lament after Vali’s Death
अंहो बतेदं नृवराविषह्यंनिवर्तते मे हृदि साधुवृत्तम्।विवर्णमग्नौ परितप्यमानंकिट्टं यथा राघव जातरूपम्।।
aṃho batedaṃ nṛvara aviṣahyaṃ nivartate me hṛdi sādhuvṛttam |
vivarṇam agnau paritapyamānaṃ kiṭṭaṃ yathā rāghava jātarūpam ||
అయ్యో! హే నరశ్రేష్ఠ రాఘవా, ఈ వేదన అసహ్యము; నా హృదయంలోని సద్గుణాచారం వెనక్కి తగ్గుతోంది, అగ్నిలో వేడెక్కిన బంగారాన్ని మలినం మసకబార్చినట్లు।
