किष्किन्धायां सुग्रीवस्य नादः

Sugriva’s War-Cry at Kishkindha

कृताभिज्ञानचिह्नस्त्व मनया गजसाह्वया।लक्ष्मणेन समुत्पाट्य यैषा कण्ठे कृता तव4.14.8।।

kṛtābhijñāna-cihnas tvaṃ manayā gaja-sāhvayā |

lakṣmaṇena samutpāṭya yaiṣā kaṇṭhe kṛtā tava || 4.14.8 ||

ఇప్పుడు నీవు గుర్తింపుచిహ్నముతో చిహ్నితుడవు; లక్ష్మణుడు ‘గజ’ అనే లతను పీకివేసి నీ కంఠమున కట్టెను।
