Transliteration

plakṣaśākhāsu yajñānām anyeṣāṃ kriyate haviḥ |

aśvamedhasya yajñasya vaitaso bhāga iṣyate ||

Translation

ఇతర యజ్ఞాలలో ప్లక్ష వృక్షశాఖలతో హవిస్సు సమర్పణ జరుగుతుంది; కానీ అశ్వమేధ యజ్ఞంలో శాస్త్రప్రకారం వైతస (బెత్తము) భాగమే విధేయమని చెప్పబడింది।
