अश्वमेधप्रवृत्तिः
Commencement and Performance of Daśaratha’s Aśvamedha
अन्नं हि विधिवत्साधु प्रशंसन्ति द्विजर्षभा:।अहो तृप्ता: स्म भद्रं ते इति शुश्राव राघव:।।।।
annaṁ hi vidhivat sādhu praśaṁsanti dvijarṣabhāḥ |
aho tṛptāḥ sma bhadraṁ te iti śuśrāva rāghavaḥ ||
విధివిధానంగా సుసంస్కృతమైన అన్నాన్ని ఆస్వాదించిన ద్విజశ్రేష్ఠులు దానిని ప్రశంసిస్తూ—“అహో! మేము తృప్తులమయ్యాము; నీకు మంగళం కలుగుగాక” అని పలికారు; ఆ మాటలను రాఘవుడు విన్నాడు।
While brahmins were being served with food by well-dressed men, some others wearing pendents studded with shining jewels assisted them.
