Anasuya’s Counsel and Sita’s Swayamvara Narrative
दत्ता चास्मीष्टवद्देव्यै ज्येष्ठायै पुण्यकर्मणा।तया सम्भाविता चास्मि स्निग्धया मातृसौहृदात्।।2.118.33।।
dattā cāsmīṣṭavad devyai jyeṣṭhāyai puṇyakarmaṇā | tayā sambhāvitā cāsmi snigdhayā mātṛ-sauhṛdāt || 2.118.33 ||
ఆ పుణ్యకర్ముడైన రాజు నన్ను అత్యంత ప్రియమైన దానంలా జ్యేష్ఠా దేవి—ప్రధాన మహిషికి—అర్పించాడు. ఆమె స్నేహమయి, మాతృసౌహార్దంతో నన్ను ఆదరించి పెంచింది.
