परवानस्मि काकुत्स्थ त्वयि वर्षशतं स्थिते।स्वयं तु रुचिरे देशे क्रियतामिति मां वद।।।।

Transliteration

paravān asmi kākutstha tvayi varṣaśataṃ sthite |

svayaṃ tu rucire deśe kriyatām iti māṃ vada ||

Translation

హే కాకుత్స్థా! నేను మీ ఆధీనుడను; మీరు వంద సంవత్సరాలైనా ఇక్కడ నిలిచినా. మీరు ఇష్టపడిన మనోహర స్థలాన్ని సూచించి ‘ఇక్కడే నిర్మించండి’ అని నాకు చెప్పండి.
