न पीडयेद्वा वस्त्राणि न देवायतने स्वपेत् । नैकोध्वानं प्रपद्येत नाधार्मिकजनै सह

వస్త్రాలను పీడించి పాడుచేయకూడదు; దేవాలయంలో నిద్రించకూడదు. ఒంటరిగా ప్రయాణం ప్రారంభించకూడదు; అధార్మికులతో సాంగత్యం చేయకూడదు.
