The Slaying of Bala–Nāmuci

जघान शरसंदोहैर्बलं बलवतां वरम् । सोपि क्रुद्धो बलो युद्धे तथा शक्रं ससंभ्रमः

jaghāna śarasaṃdohairbalaṃ balavatāṃ varam | sopi kruddho balo yuddhe tathā śakraṃ sasaṃbhramaḥ

శరవర్షాలతో అతడు బలవంతులలో శ్రేష్ఠుడైన ‘బల’ను కొట్టాడు. అప్పుడు క్రుద్ధుడైన బలుడు కూడా యుద్ధంలో ఉగ్ర సంభ్రమంతో శక్రుడు (ఇంద్రుడు) వైపు దూసుకెళ్లాడు।
