श्रुत्वा मातृमुखादेवं वचः परमकोविदः । स्कंदस्तीर्थं ययौ सद्यः सर्वं त्रिभुवनस्थितं

śrutvā mātṛmukhādevaṃ vacaḥ paramakovidaḥ | skaṃdastīrthaṃ yayau sadyaḥ sarvaṃ tribhuvanasthitaṃ

తల్లి ముఖం నుండి ఈ మాటలు విని పరమ జ్ఞాని స్కందుడు వెంటనే స్కందతీర్థానికి బయలుదేరాడు; ఆ పవిత్ర స్థలం త్రిభువనమంతటా ప్రసిద్ధి పొందింది.
