Dhanada (Kubera)

FAQs

It links prosperity (vaibhava) with a higher virtue: impartiality and equal regard toward all forms of life, whether moving or unmoving.

Dhanada is Kubera, traditionally the lord of wealth; the verse says the subject’s splendor is supported by Kubera’s treasury.

Wealth should not produce arrogance or partiality; true greatness is shown by equanimity toward all beings.
