FAQs

It states that after Rāma completed his bath, the great sage Mārkaṇḍa arrived with his disciples and was seen there by a wise observer.

Not directly. It situates the scene around the completion of a ritual bath (snāna), which often implies a sacred setting, but no named tīrtha appears in this verse alone.

The verse implies reverence for ritual purity (snāna) and the auspiciousness of meeting realized sages (munipuṅgava) who travel with disciples, indicating the transmission of dharma and knowledge.
