मार्कंडेयवचः श्रुत्वा मृकंडुर्मुनिसत्तमः । जगाम परमं हर्षं क्षणमेकं समुच्छ्वसन्

mārkaṃḍeyavacaḥ śrutvā mṛkaṃḍurmunisattamaḥ | jagāma paramaṃ harṣaṃ kṣaṇamekaṃ samucchvasan

మార్కండేయుని వచనములు విని మునిశ్రేష్ఠుడైన మృకండువు పరమానందంతో నిండిపోయి, క్షణమాత్రం స్వేచ్ఛగా ఊపిరి పీల్చెను।
