नेत्रे प्रमृज्य चैतस्याः प्राह गंगा वचस्तदा । मा रोदीस्त्वं महाभागे दुःष्करं ते कृतं सखि

netre pramṛjya caitasyāḥ prāha gaṃgā vacastadā | mā rodīstvaṃ mahābhāge duḥṣkaraṃ te kṛtaṃ sakhi

అప్పుడు గంగా ఆమె కన్నీళ్లను తుడిచివేసి ఇలా పలికింది— “మహాభాగ్యవతీ, ఏడవకు; సఖీ, నీవు దుష్కరమైన కార్యాన్ని సాధించావు.”
