आनंदिन्यै कटिं देव्याः शूलिनश्शूलपाणये । माधव्यै च तथा नाभिमथ शंभोर्भवाय वै

దేవి యొక్క నడుమును ఆనందినికి అర్పించాడు; శూలధారి శివుని శూలపాణికి శూలాన్ని ఇచ్చాడు. అలాగే నాభిని మాధవికి—అదే శంభు, భవ (శివుడు).
