पादमस्य विदन्सम्यग्योधीयीत जितेंद्रियः । तेनाधीतं पुराणं स्यात्सर्वं नास्त्यत्र संशयः

pādamasya vidansamyagyodhīyīta jiteṃdriyaḥ | tenādhītaṃ purāṇaṃ syātsarvaṃ nāstyatra saṃśayaḥ

జితేంద్రియుడు ఈ పురాణంలోని ఒక పాదం (చతుర్థ భాగం)నైనా సరిగా గ్రహిస్తే, దానిని అధ్యయనం చేయాలి; అలా చేస్తే సమస్త పురాణం అధ్యయనం చేసినట్లే—ఇందులో సందేహం లేదు।
