Concept: Nobility is defined not merely by power (chariots) but by satya (truth), yajña (sacrificial duty), and sahasra-dāna (lavish generosity).

Application: Let capability be paired with integrity: keep promises, support communal sacred/charitable works, and practice consistent giving.

FAQs

The verse praises the Bhojas as truthful (not speaking falsehood), committed to yajña (not abandoning sacrifice), and generous (capable of giving in the thousands).

“Meghaghoṣa” suggests a thunderous, cloud-like roar—indicating chariots that are powerful, loud, and awe-inspiring in battle or procession.

Power and prosperity (symbolized by vast chariot forces) are idealized when paired with dharma: truthfulness, sacrificial duty, and large-hearted generosity.
