FAQs

The verse refers to ṛkṣas (bear-like beings) and vānaras (monkey-like beings), traditionally associated with the allies who assist in Rāma’s mission in Ramayana-linked narratives.

It implies that various beings manifested through their own respective “aṃśas” (portions or partial incarnations), suggesting a divinely distributed participation in a cosmic purpose.

It emphasizes obedience to divine instruction and the notion that cosmic events unfold through coordinated manifestations (aṃśas) under the direction of the supreme divine authority (Devadeva).
