The Origin of Rāvaṇa

हतस्त्वया रावणाख्यस्त्वसुरो लोककंटकः । दिष्ट्याद्य देवाः सुखिनो दिष्ट्या राजा बिभीषणः

hatastvayā rāvaṇākhyastvasuro lokakaṃṭakaḥ | diṣṭyādya devāḥ sukhino diṣṭyā rājā bibhīṣaṇaḥ

నీ చేత రావణనామక ఆ అసురుడు—లోకాలకు కంటకుడు—వధింపబడ్డాడు. దైవానుగ్రహంతో నేడు దేవతలు సుఖంగా ఉన్నారు; దైవానుగ్రహంతో విభీషణుడు రాజయ్యాడు.
