Primary Rasa: adbhuta
Secondary Rasa: vira
Type: city
Sandhi Resolution Notes:
‘Manujeśvara’ literally means “lord of men” and, in this context, refers to a human ruler/king whom the group approaches.
It emphasizes exuberant joy—described as an “overflow” (āplava) of pramoda—along with lively curiosity (kautuka).
It reflects responsiveness to rightful authority and coordinated social action: upon receiving the king’s message, people promptly assemble and approach him with respectful attention.
