FAQs

It is a poetic portrait of a radiant being—ornamented, pearl-adorned at the throat, with shining face and earrings—whose fingertips emit a spray of light as he begins to speak.

It is primarily descriptive (alaṅkāra-style) and sets a scene by emphasizing tejas (splendor) and auspicious bodily marks before the ensuing speech or instruction.

Such details signal divinity, authority, and auspiciousness; they also prepare the listener to treat the forthcoming words as significant, often marking the entrance of an exalted figure.
