जागरे पद्मनाभस्य पुराणं पाठयेत्तु यः । आजन्मोपार्जितं पापं दहते तूलराशिवत्

jāgare padmanābhasya purāṇaṃ pāṭhayettu yaḥ | ājanmopārjitaṃ pāpaṃ dahate tūlarāśivat

పద్మనాభుని జాగరణ సమయంలో పురాణాన్ని పఠించేవాడు, జన్మాంతరమంతా కాదు—ఈ జన్మలో కూడబెట్టిన పాపమును అగ్ని పత్తి కుప్పను కాల్చినట్లు దహించును.
