चांद्रायणत्रयं ब्रह्मन्पंचगोमिथुनानि च । विप्रेभ्यो दक्षिणां दद्याच्छुध्यते नात्र संशयः

cāṃdrāyaṇatrayaṃ brahmanpaṃcagomithunāni ca | viprebhyo dakṣiṇāṃ dadyācchudhyate nātra saṃśayaḥ

హే బ్రాహ్మణా! మూడు చాంద్రాయణ వ్రతాలు ఆచరించి, పండిత విప్రులకు దక్షిణగా ఐదు జతల గోవులను దానం చేస్తే, నిస్సందేహంగా శుద్ధి పొందుతాడు।
