ద్వారపాలుడు అన్నాడు— “వృద్ధమాతా, నీవు ఏమి మోస్తున్నావు? నీ భర్త ఎవరు? నీవు ఇక్కడికి ఎలా వచ్చావు, రాణి దర్శనంలో నీ పని ఏమిటి? ఎందుకు, ఏ కారణంతో వచ్చావో చెప్పు. ఓ బ్రాహ్మణా, మాట్లాడు; వినాలని నాకు కుతూహలం ఉంది।”
