Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: adbhuta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It introduces the greatness (māhātmya) of Śrī Puruṣottama-kṣetra, emphasizing that even the mere sight (darśana) of its tīrthas is described as capable of destroying sin, thus encouraging pilgrimage as a dharmic purifier.
By centering the sacred geography around Puruṣottama (Viṣṇu), it frames tīrtha-darśana as a bhakti-supporting act—approaching the Lord’s abode with reverence, which purifies the heart and strengthens devotion.
No specific Vedāṅga is taught in this verse; the practical takeaway is ritual-dharma related—tīrtha-yātrā and darśana are presented as recognized purificatory disciplines within Purāṇic practice.
