मासं तर्पणमात्रेण पिंडसंपातनेन च । गंगायां पितरः सर्वे सुप्रीताः सूर्यवर्चसः ॥ १० ॥

Transliteration

māsaṃ tarpaṇamātreṇa piṃḍasaṃpātanena ca | gaṃgāyāṃ pitaraḥ sarve suprītāḥ sūryavarcasaḥ || 10 ||

Translation

గంగానదిలో ఒక నెల పాటు కేవలం తర్పణం చేయడం, అలాగే పిండదానం చేయడం వలన, సమస్త పితృదేవతలు అత్యంత సంతుష్టులై సూర్యకాంతివలె ప్రకాశిస్తారు।
