सर्वशास्त्रार्थविज्ज्ञानी नीरोगश्च भवेद्भ्रुवम् । संक्रांत्यां पक्षयोरंते ग्रहणे चंद्रसूर्ययोः ॥ १८ ॥

Transliteration

sarvaśāstrārthavijjñānī nīrogaśca bhavedbhruvam | saṃkrāṃtyāṃ pakṣayoraṃte grahaṇe caṃdrasūryayoḥ || 18 ||

Translation

సర్వశాస్త్రార్థాన్ని తెలిసినవాడు నిశ్చయంగా నిరోగుడవుతాడు—ప్రత్యేకంగా సంక్రాంతి వేళ, రెండు పక్షాల అంత్యంలో, అలాగే చంద్ర‑సూర్య గ్రహణకాలంలో (విధిగా ఆచరించినప్పుడు)।
