వేదములు వేదాంగములలో పారగులై వచ్చిన ఆ విప్రులను చూచి, మోహినీ రాజుతో కూడి కార్యమున తత్పరమై వారికి నమస్కరించెను।
Narada (narrating within the Uttara-Bhaga Tirtha-Mahatmya framework)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It highlights dharmic humility: honoring Veda- and Vedāṅga-knowing brāhmaṇas is itself a sacred act that sanctifies one’s intended religious undertaking.
Though not directly naming a deity, it models a core bhakti disposition—reverence and surrender—expressed through respectful bowing to those who preserve and transmit sacred knowledge.
The verse points to mastery of the Vedāṅgas—especially Kalpa (ritual procedure) and Jyotiṣa (timing/auspicious calculation)—as the practical expertise sought when a “task/rite” is to be properly performed.
