अमतेन पुराणानां व्याहृतं यद्द्विजन्मना । क्षुद्रशास्त्रोपदेशेन लोलुपेन वरानने ॥ २ ॥

amatena purāṇānāṃ vyāhṛtaṃ yaddvijanmanā | kṣudraśāstropadeśena lolupena varānane || 2 ||

Translation

హే వరాననే! అపరిపక్వబుద్ధి గల లోభి ద్విజుడు క్షుద్రశాస్త్రోపదేశంతో పురాణాల గురించి చెప్పినది ప్రమాణంగా గ్రహించరాదు।
