Narada (teaching in the Uttara-bhāga vrata/tīrtha-mahātmya context)
Vrata: Mādhava-vāsara (day of Madhava)
Primary Rasa: adbhuta
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It links Viṣṇu-vrata (abstaining from food on Mādhava’s sacred day) with cosmic harmony—preventing drought and sustaining prosperity—showing that dharmic restraint supports both nature and human welfare.
By presenting fasting on Mādhava’s day as an act of devotion that pleases Viṣṇu and yields protective grace, it frames bhakti not only as inner faith but as disciplined vrata-practice aligned with the Lord.
Kalpa (ritual discipline) is implied through the vrata rule of not eating on a prescribed sacred day, emphasizing correct observance and timing as a practical, tradition-based application of dharma.
